Good day, I’m Sam and I am the owner (that’s me with my daughter in the background). I am proud to be the Blue Mountains only professional bike hire shop. I am also the proud owner of the successful Blue Mountains Biking Adventures (BMBA), which has been running and will continue to run, a fully mobile pre-booked concierge style self-guided premium hire service, for the last 3 years!
Why have I opened a shop in Katoomba? The current business format for BMBA is not able to take on the day walk up bookings which meant that there were so many on the day bike hire adventures that could not happen, which is sad for all. The shop will now allow you, on the spur of the moment, to come grab a bike and get out in nature…. PERFECT!
The new shop will stock, mountain bikes, electric mountain e-Bikes and electric urban e-Bikes. In particular, we are really excited to make these 2 types of e-Bikes available. E-Bikes allow every age and all fitness levels to get back on the bike and ride, be it on road or off road. Ill be the first to admit, my e-Bike seems to be getting many more rides than my normal mountain bikes…I JUST LOVE IT!
Our friendly staff are all lovers of bikes, nature and are Blue Mountains passionate. We can help you plan your days adventure on the bike, set you up on the bike and provide useful tips.
